Rebbie Jackson Albums

The oldest member of the nine Jackson kids kept very much out of the spotlight as far as a recording career is concerned. In 1984 Rebbie (pronounced 'ree-bee') signed to CBS to release her first record. But Rebbie already worked in show business before getting a record deal while working as a cabaret and session singer or in some TV productions. In those project she worked, for example, with people like Betty Wright, The Emotions and Lynda Carter. She was a part of the 'Jacksons Family TV Show', too.
The first record Rebbie Jackson released was called 'Centipede' and came out in 1984, the title track was written and produced by her little brother Michael. Two further records by her has been released on CBS, 'Reaction' (1986) and 'R U Tuff Enuff' (1988). The album 'Reaction' includes a duet with the legendary Mr. Isaac Hayes called 'Tonight I'm Yours'. In 1991 Rebbie signed to Motown Records but this contract didn't produce any releases. On Sony/Expansion, a record called 'Rebbie Jackson Collection' was released that included her best collection of songs taken from her 3 albums.
In 1998 after signing to Michael Jacksons MJJ Productions, Rebbie released her latest album called 'Yours Faithfully' that contains, among other great songs, a duet with Michael called 'Fly Away'. The only single taken from 'Yours Faithfully' so far is the title track, but hopefully it won't be the only song that'll be releases as a single.
