3t biography

3T are the sons of the second oldest Jackson brother, Tito. 3T already showed a great interest in music at an early age, while watching their dad and uncles perform. So they started to practice performing in front of the mirror and worked on their writing and singing skills. Tito Jackson always supported his sons talents by showing them how to write song and paying for their guitar lessons.
3T had their first public performance in 1992 during 'The Jackson Family Honours', with singing and dancing together with their cousins. The Jacksons song '2300 Jackson Street' was the first song you could hear the guys singing background vocals together with their family members.
In 1994 3T's first song 'You Are The Ones' had been released. 'You Are The Ones' is a part of 'The Jacksons An American Dream' Soundtrack and acutally just about a minute long interlude that the boys wrote about The Jackson 5.
Orignally 3T were signed to Epic Records, after doing what millions of young singers are doing, sending them a demo tape. But then Jerry Greenberg, President of MJJ Music, wanted them on MJJ and so 3T went to MJJ Music. The demo that had been sent to Epic Records was also the first 3T song that has been released and called 'I Didn't Mean To Hurt You'. This song was 3T's contribution to the 'Free Willy' Soundtrack, released on MJJ Music.
In 1995 3T finally released their debut album 'Brotherhood' that sold over 1,000,000 copies in Europe. Many songs on 'Brotherhood' were written and co-produced by the boys themselves. The first single was called 'Anything' and went gold in several coutries. After 'Anything' the songs '24/7', 'Tease Me' (in the US only), 'Why' (duet with M. Jackson), 'I Need You' and 'Gotta Be You' had been releasesd as single.
Taj, Taryll and T.J. also went on a successful tour in Europe to promote their debut album.
